The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University offers highly ranked undergraduate, MBA, executive MBA, Ph.D., and executive education opportunities to more than 6,000 students at all levels. Smeal is among the ten largest business schools in the United States, and is accredited in business by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Featuring academic departments of accounting, finance, insurance and real estate, management and organization, marketing, and supply chain and information systems, the college is also home to major research centers in areas such as supply chain management, business-to-business marketing, corporate innovation and entrepreneurship, and other disciplines. Since its inception in 1953, more than 85,000 students have graduated from the college, which in 1990 was named the Mary Jean and Frank P. Smeal College of Business. Frank Smeal was a 1942 graduate of Penn State who enjoyed a lengthy career on Wall Street.
